It is important to study a prospect's business with an open mind,that is, don't look solely for problems. too many salespeople troubleshoot, as if they only can fix problems. There is another way to match the services or products of your company with the needs of your prospects. Look for opportunities, find niches that your prospect may not have been aware of. Perhaps your prospect would welcome a new system or an introduction to a new market. Whatever you have to offer, there is always more than problem solving approach to be taken.
